Study tools

Study Simulator

Use a tool for the task in front of you, or open a course to work with the material you have already saved. Study Simulator brings both paths together.

Where to find it

Open tools. A course library you can return to, alongside direct access to study guides, flashcards, quizzes, notes, podcasts, and visual explanations.

How it works

  1. Choose a quick task or a course: Start with a quick tool, or sign in to open one of your courses.
  2. Bring the relevant material: Quick tools use the text you submit. A course keeps related sources and saved outputs together for a class or exam.
  3. Return to the work you want to keep: Open the same course and its guides, decks, quizzes, podcasts, and saved lessons without starting over.

Access and scope

Quick tools work without an account. Sign in to keep a course library, and go Pro to build study sets from a whole course.

Your courses, files and saved study sets are all still here, and old links still work.

What is a studying simulator?

Study Simulator is where you study in StudySim. It brings two paths together: quick tools for a single task, like a study guide or a practice test maker, and courses that keep your sources and saved study outputs in one library.

Is there a free AI study helper?

Yes. You can try a complete small result from the quick tools before you sign up. Usage limits apply, and results made without an account expire after 24 hours. Sign in to save a result to a course. Full course generation is part of StudySim Pro.

How much does an AI study helper cost?

The quick tools let you try a small result for free, within usage limits. Full course generation uses a StudySim Pro subscription. Current plans and billing options are on the StudySim pricing page.

Which AI is best for studying for free?

It depends on the job. A chatbot that drafts text works differently from a tool that builds a quiz from your notes or keeps a course library. Our study tool comparisons set StudySim next to other options so you can pick what fits how you study.
