Study tips for GRE
Treat the first section as routing, not as a warm-up you can coast
ETS says the second Verbal section and the second Quantitative section depend on the first. A sloppy first section can lock you into an easier second section and a lower ceiling.
Use mark-and-review inside a section
You may skip and return within a section. Flag a slow text-completion item, finish the short ones, then come back before the section timer ends.
Write the Issue thesis in one sentence before you draft
Analytical Writing is one 30-minute task. State a clear position and two reasons, then spend the remaining time on examples. POWERPREP is the place to practice the official editor.
