Animal-cell structure notes
In an animal cell, the nucleus contains most of the cell’s DNA. A gene can be transcribed into messenger RNA, or mRNA. The mRNA carries that transcribed message out of the nucleus. Ribosomes read mRNA and join amino acids to form a protein. During cellular respiration, mitochondria produce much of the ATP used to transfer energy for cellular work. These structures cooperate without literal intentions.

Review the biology notes
Open Visual tutor and check the structures, locations and qualifiers in the example before generating.
Create the explanation
Choose Create visual lesson. Use the graphic controls if you want to guide the optional artwork.
Trace the handoffs
Watch how the lesson distinguishes DNA, the traveling mRNA message and the ribosome’s assembly role.
Check your understanding
Answer the checkpoint and ask a focused follow-up about a relationship that still needs clarification.
